The county police have confirmed
the death of an off-duty police officer who was shot and killed on Monday night
in what has been described as a domestic dispute at a house located in Prince
George’s county.
The PG Police Department
responded to the scene of a fatal shooting at a home in the 6700 block of Green
Moss Drive just after 9pm. The officer, a member of the District of Columbia
police department, was shot by someone believed to be a family member,
according to a county police spokeswoman, Cpl. Maria Mckinney.
So far, no motive for the

weapon. But, the police have surrounded the house where they believe the
suspect could still be inside, with a conflict management team on the scene to
monitor the situation.
